Cassandra "Casi" Donelan

Executive Director

Cassandra "Casi" Donelan serves as Executive Director of Boys & Girls Clubs of Prince George's County and is the first woman to lead the organization in that role. She brings more than 15 years of experience in collegiate athletics, youth development, and nonprofit leadership.

​

Before joining the organization, Ms. Donelan served as a collegiate women's basketball coach and athletic administrator, including roles as Head Coach, Assistant Athletic Director, and Director of Civic Engagement for Athletics. She led community outreach, leadership development, civic engagement initiatives, strategic partnerships, athletic contracts, and student-athlete development. During her coaching career, she recruited and coached numerous All-Conference student-athletes, Academic All-Americans, and All-Academic honorees while helping establish multiple program and school records. She has also served as Director of Girls' Camps for the Pocono Invitational for the past nine summers.

As Executive Director, Ms. Donelan leads organizational strategy, operations, and community partnerships to expand opportunities for young people across Prince George's County. She is passionate about using sports and youth development to foster confidence, resilience, leadership, and a strong sense of community, helping shape the next generation of leaders.

​

An active volunteer with several youth organizations, Ms. Donelan believes that investing in children is investing in our future. She holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from Bethany College and a Bachelor of Arts in Sport Administration from Lock Haven University.

Rian A. Jackson

Rian Jackson serves as President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Boys & Girls Clubs of Prince George’s County (BGCPGC), one of Maryland’s largest youth sports and community organizations.

​

Mr. Jackson began volunteering with BGCPGC in 2008 as a parent with the Beltsville Boys & Girls Club. He later served as football commissioner, basketball commissioner and athletic director before joining the BGCPGC Board of Directors in 2011. After serving on several committees and chairing the Bylaws Committee, he was unanimously elected President and Chairman in 2014.

Under his leadership, BGCPGC has expanded athletic programming, strengthened regional partnerships and modernized its operations through technology-driven solutions. His focus on strategic planning, governance and operational excellence continues to position the organization for sustainable growth.

​

Outside of BGCPGC, Mr. Jackson is an accomplished information technology and service operations executive whose expertise in project management and technology modernization has strengthened the organization’s efficiency and service delivery.

​

A U.S. Navy veteran and graduate of the District of Columbia Public Schools and the University of Phoenix, Mr. Jackson holds the Project Management Professional certification and additional credentials in technology and leadership. He remains committed to expanding opportunities for children and strengthening families and communities throughout Prince George’s County and the surrounding region.
